For the Young and Hungry… New print ads for Levi’s latest Go Forth branding campaign. Featuring headlines like “Cut with Grace” and “Tailored for the Young and Hungry”, the new ads clearly target the young, driven and fashion conscious audience. Shot by photographer Christian Weber, the print and outdoor ads feature the models/actors from the television spot, all of which are sporting the latest Levi’s Fall/Winter collection. Not sure we dig the new typography, but as always with the folks from Portland, all extremely clean and well done. The Go Forth branding concept does seems like it has been watered (or beaten) down to a more conventional “sell product” campaign. Tune in again for more in the dungaree dairies…

Go Forth/Year Four… Levi’s is back (via Wieden + Kennedy) with its Go Forth campaign. For the latest installment, a second “This is a pair of Levi’s.” has been added. The new creative is an obvious extension of the individualism and optimism of past campaign iterations but now with a heavier dose of product and style. It is introduced in this first spot which features a rap-like chant that plays over a bunch of cool looking models/actors that are getting dressed for a new day. It’s the thread in your seams that’s tied to your dreams…

From Love to Bingo. The vast majority of us have come to either appreciate or dread the idea of stock photography and video. And the mega giant Getty Images is often a go to resource for a wide range of client or project needs when there is either no budget for original work or no time. Here, Brazilian agency Almap BBDO cleverly weaves together almost a thousand Getty images to make a one minute spot on life. Not the most original concept, but it’s an entertaining way to show impressive range of imagery, tell a story and pull at our heart strings a bit.
