About THINK… Promotion video for THINK, the IBM exhibit currently at Lincoln Center in New York which explores how progress is shaped through a common and systematic approach. The real show is the exhibit itself, but the video gives you a good idea of how impressive this amazing piece of marketing really is. Like the music too which definitely is not always the case in the land of corporate videos…

Think big… IBM’s THINK Exhibit currently at Lincoln Center explores the role of technology in improving our daily lives and the world we live in. The exhibit includes videos, touch screen maps, interactive media panels and mobile applications. The large digital wall, by far the most visible element of the exhibit, shows real-time live streaming data from the surrounding areas including traffic on Broadway, solar energy use on the Upper West Side, and air quality throughout Manhattan. The billboard-sized digital display demonstrates how we use the world around us and represents on a local scale the many opportunities for changes to be made. We’ve already made a point of praising Big Blue (and Ogilvy) for the THINK campaign, but we simply can’t help ourselves. Kudos to the huge project team including MTh (production), Ralph Appelbaum Associates (project design and development) and Mirada/SYPartners (design firms). This exhibit is just another example of creative, marketing and technological genius. WOW…

Fall Fantasy… Another dose of the Prada “Real Fantasies” lookbook for Fall/Winter 2011. This one casts the season’s players (models) as cutout dolls in a curious series of home and other environments. Colors all bounce off of each other and somehow make the retro fabrics and prints seem all the more charming and wearable (maybe). Again, kudos for the big idea and brilliant execution.

Based on the book… Prada F/W 2011 Real Fantasies lookbook film brings the paper doll-like characters to life. They live their oh so fashionable lives while taking time to pause/pose showing off the latest of Miuccia’s thought-provoking wares. Artwork again by the team of Jeroen Koolhaas & Lok Jansen with photography by Phil Meech. Watch it a few times and respect the amount of thought, imaginative work and engaging fun…
