Wild thing… Hermés Spring/Summer 2014 campaign featuring Diana Moldovan and Yumi Lambert. Photographed by Hans Silvester, which is quite an interesting choice of photographers for the luxury house. Previously, the German photographer had beautifully documented the extraordinary body painting of the Surma and Mursi peoples of the Omo Valley in southern Ethiopia, Kenya and Sudan (most likely leading to the Hermés assignment). Definitely tamed for the global arbiter of good taste and craftsmanship, but nonetheless exquisitely shot and provocative. The allure of the jungle (and Hermés) is certainly hard to resist…
